-muuq- is a verb meaning 'to go / head toward a place.'
illumuuqtunga I am going to the house.
-minngaaq- is another verb, meaning 'to come from.'
pinnguavimmiinngaaqtut They are coming from the rec centre.
 
-muuq-, and -miinngaaq- are added directly to roots ending in vowels :
illumiinngaaqtut They are coming from the house.
When they are added to a root ending in -q, they change q to :
tupiq tent
tupirmiinngaaqtuq He / she is coming from the tent.


When they are added to a root ending in -k they change the -k to -m :
ilinniavik school
ilinniavimmuuqtunga I am going to the school.
