Tips for viewing Inuktitut Syllabic Fonts

Tips for viewing Inuktitut Syllabic Fonts:
If you are trying to view the Tusaalanga website and notice that a lot of text is showing up as "squares" (□□□□□□□) this means one of two things.

1) Your computer doesn't have a font that recognizes Inuktitut syllabics
or
2) In Internet Explorer, you have to make a settings change.

Downloading Fonts:

If you don't have a syllabic font, the best option is to download the Euphemia font from: http://www.tiro.com/syllabics

If this doesn't fix your problem (and you use Internet Explorer) try the following:
On the Internet Explorer menu select:
Tools > Internet Options > Fonts >

At this point select "Canadian Syllabic" from the drop down menu. If you have a supported font it should be in the list. Choose the font you would like to use for your default browsing

This screenshot depicts the screen you will see Note, this is the
Inuktitut version of Internet Explorer. The English version of this
window will be a little bit different.

Users of Windows Vista or Mac OS X:
Both Windows Vista and Mac OS X have built-in support for Inuktitut Syllabics. The default font is "Euphemia"
