Tusaalanga Inuktitut

The Pirurvik Centre will be offering  a new series of Inuktitut as a Second Language Courses (ISL) beginning in the Fall of 2010. For those interested, we will be offering  a new course "Allurvik II" which continues from the first Allurvik course. 

Courses are planned for Iqaluit

PIGIARVIK (ISL 1)
Helps learners with no background in the language to master the essentials of Inuktitut, including correct pronunciation.
Sept. 14-Dec. 7; Tuesday & Thursday 8:45-10:15AM

ALLURVIK (ISL 2)
Builds your ability to communicate simply in a variety of situations with all-Inuktitut instruction. Includes more advanced speaking drills and instruction on reading and writing syllabics.
Sept. 14-Dec. 7; Tuesday & Thursday 8:45-10:15AM

ALLURVIK II (ISL 3)
Our third course in beginner Inuktitut completes your grounding in the fundamentals of the language and prepares you for the challenges of our Atangiivik (intermediate) level training.
Sept. 15-Dec. 3; Wednesday & Friday 8:45-10:15AM

Pirurvik will also be delivering courses outside of Iqaluit. Details to be announced over the summer.
