Pirurvik's Fall 2011 Inuktitut Courses

The Pirurvik Centre will be offering the following courses in Iqaluit, beginning in September 2011.  To register, please complete an application form attached to this page (see below).

PIGIARVIK
New to Inuktitut? Pigiarvik helps learners with no background in the language to master the essentials of Inuktitut, including correct pronunciation.

IQALUIT
September 21 to December 9
 Tuesday and Thursday 8:45 to 10:15  full
Wednesday and Friday 8:45 to 10:15

ALLURVIK
The next step, Allurvik, introduces reading and writing in syllabics while you build your ability to communicate simply in a variety of situations.

IQALUIT
September 20 to December 8
Tuesday and Thursday 1:15 to 2:45

ALLURVIK 2
In Allurvik II, you will continue building your skills in speaking, reading and writing. Advanced materials prepare you to study on your own in the future.

IQALUIT
September 21 to December 9
Wednesday and Friday 1:15 to 2:45

Tuition fees for Government of Nunavut employees will be paid by the Department of Human Resources. Supervisor permission is required.

Tuition fees are not refundable after the start of classes.
